SAN ANGELO, Texas. The X-Treme Bulldogging Finals, presented by Cedar Gap Wealth Management, will be held March 26 to 28, 2027, at the Outdoor Roping Arena in San Angelo, Texas, during San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo week. After a record-setting first year in Abilene, the event moves west with $110,000 in added money for the finals, the largest payout for a stand-alone steer wrestling event counting toward PRCA World Standings in history.

The weekend opens Friday, March 26, at 8:00 AM with a qualifier that draws more than 200 contestants competing for 10 spots, with $15,000 in added money. On Sunday, March 28, at 2:00 PM, the Top 30 steer wrestlers in the world and the 10 qualifiers compete in three rounds and a short-go. Admission to the qualifier and the finals is free and open to the public, with seating for approximately 4,000. The Saturday Night Social, a benefit calcutta and auction, will be held March 27, with details to be announced.
